Mearl Harrison

Mearl D. Harrison 72 of Glasgow died Friday, October 05, 2012 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green. He was born in Monroe County, the son of the late Lee and Flora Goad Harrison. Mr. Harrison was retired from the Army National Guard of KY, A Btry., 1st BN 623rd FA and was a veteran of Dessert Storm. He is survived by his wife Eva Lane Harrison; 1 son David Harrison of Glasgow; 2 daughters Sherri Parker (Joseph) of Glasgow and Lori Bower (Daniel) of Indiana; 4 grandchildren, Tara Abston (Michael), Spenser Harrison, Alex Bower and Kyla Bower; 2 great-grandchildren Alexia and Emily Abston; 2 sisters Vivian Cleary of Tompkinsville and Ersie Hurt of Indiana. He was preceded in death by a grandson Andrew Bower and a sister Etta Odle. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5pm Saturday.
