Melvin Harrison

Melvin Morris Harrison 69 of Glasgow, KY died Friday December 26, 2003 at the T. J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow. The Barren County native was the son of the late Dewey and Mollie Blair Harrison. Mr. Harrison was a carpenter, a former member of the Kentucky National Guard and was a member of the Grider Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Darris Walden Harrison; 1 son Melvin Morris Harrison, Jr. of Glasgow; 1 daughter Patricia Ann Smith of Glasgow; 1 granddaughter Mandy Combest of Glasgow; 1 brother Jackie Harrison of Glasgow; 3 sisters Faye Walker, Bonnie Brown and Louise Garrett all of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. Five brothers, Walter, J. D., Donald, Kenneth and James Harrison and 1 sister Annie Pearl Railey preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 3pm Monday December 29, 2003 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pm Sunday at the funeral home.
