Michael Burks

Michael Neal Burks 60 of Glasgow died Monday, May 26, 2014 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Ft. Meade, MD he was the son of the late James H. Burks and Lorene Janes Burks of Glasgow who survives. Mr. Burks was a former manager of Minit Mart in Glasgow and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his mother he is survived by two daughters Brittanie Cleveland & husband Jeff of Park City, KY and Laura Burks of Lexington, KY; five grandchildren Alex, Brenna, Caleb & Daven Cleveland and Branham White; a brother Barry Burks & wife Lacie of Glasgow; his best friend Rich Gabbard of Louisville, KY and several nieces & nephews. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a daughter Kaitlyn Burks and a brother Jeff Burks. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, May 30, 2014 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
