Michael Burns

Michael Burns Jr, age 81 of Glasgow, Ky passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, surrounded by his loving family and his 9 dogs that have been long time companions. Michael was born in Nashville, TN to the late Michael and Estelle Marie Burns. Michael was a former CPA for General Electric From 1963-1983. One of his greatest passions in life was his love for automobiles and owning and running his used car dealership for over 60 years. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Darlene (Jadee) Burns; and former spouse, Patricia Keith that he shares 2 children, James Michael Burns (Judy) and Mindy Burns Haws, both Louisville, KY; 2 Stepsons, Andrew Kaiser (Kelly) of Bowling Green, KY, and Phillip Kaiser (Natalie) of Batavia, OH; 2 Brothers, Stanley Burns (Patsy) of Birmingham, AL and Thomas Burns (Jane) of Charleston, SC; Grandchildren, Dominick Burns and Veronica Tingle (Trey), Bailey and John Carter, Emmalyn Kaiser, Grison Kaiser, and Andee Kate Kaiser, Melanie Kaiser, Landon Kaiser and Owen Kaiser; Great-Grandchildren, Luxe Burns, Remi Burns and Irie Burns and Several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Brian & Ashley King of Glasgow, Ky, and Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center for their years of tender and loving care for "Papa Burns" Funeral service will be held at 11:00am Monday, December 20th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial at 2:00pm in the Calvary Cemetery at 1101 Lebanon Pike in Nashville, TN 37210. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 1:00pm until 8:00pm and on Monday morning until time for service at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vanderbilt.
