Michael Jones

Michael Douglas Jones, 60 of Mt. Hermon died Wednesday October 5, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Glasgow, the son of the late Carl Jones, Sr. and Laura Ella Payne Jones. Mr. Jones had worked at Eaton Axle Company as a machine operator and is a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Sheila White Jones of Mt. Hermon; 3 sons Jeremy White (Jennifer) of Glasgow, Chris Jones (Hannah) of Glasgow and Justin Jones of Bowling Green; 1 daughter Amanda Dugger (Jonathan) of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Alyssa, Travis, Ella, Natalie and Andrea all of Glasgow; several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Carl Jones, Jr., nephew Danny Jones and several aunts & uncles. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday October 9, 2016 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
