Michael Kerr

Michael Franklin Dale Kerr, age 37 of Clarkson passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 peacefully in his sleep in his home in Benton, AZ. He was born June 25, 1978 in Louisville, KY the son of Jimmie D. Kerr and Linda G. Smith. Michael lived a life of kindness and laughter. You may remember, he never turned away from an opportunity to help. He was the big guy you called when you needed to move. A lot of you know him as the gentle giant, but mostly he was the guy that was always by our side. He always said that when he left this world he wanted people to remember him fondly, how he was when he was younger and when we all were so much closer to each other. As his brother, and his friend, I know that he would want all of you to remember a time when you laughed together, and to hold on to that memory and never let it fade. (Respectfully written by his brother, Tommy) He is survived by his wife Teresa Kerr of Leitchfield, his mother Linda G. Smith and one brother Tommy J. Crain both of Clarkson. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie D. Kerr. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Cremation was chosen in lieu of burial.
