Michelle Hayes

Michelle R. Hayes, 52, of Brownsville, passed away Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017 in Leitchfield. She was born on Friday, January 8th, 1965 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Donald Ray and Patricia Ann (Lewis) Blevins. Michelle attended the Sunny Point Baptist Church. She was a housewife, loved to read and also loved her dogs and animals. Michelle is survived by her husband, Steve Hayes of Brownsville; one son, Steven Hayes Jr (Ashli) of Mary Esther, FL; one daughter, Amanda Hayes of Elizabethtown; her mother, Patricia Ann Blevins of Lawrenceburg; five brothers, Donald Blevins (Debbie) of Clarksville, IN, Richard Blevins (Cindy) of Memphis, TN, Jerry Blevins of Lawrenceburg, Tony Blevins of Louisville and Patrick Blevins (Marsha) of Lawrenceburg and one sister, Valinda Vance (Charles) of Louisville. Other than her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Craig Blevins.Funeral services will be Saturday, February 25th at 12:00 Noon CST at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Charles Vance will be officiating. Burial will be in the Holly Cemetery in Leitchfield.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Friday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm CST and Saturday from 9:00 am CST until time of service.
