Mildred Harrell

Mildred Conkin Harrell 93 of Glasgow, died Monday December 11th at the T. J. Samson Hospital. She was born in Monroe County the youngest daughter of G.F. and Elizabeth Gravens Conkin. She was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church and was a former employee of George J. Ellis Drug Store and the Park Ave. Market. She is survived by a daughter Shirley St. Charles of Glasgow; a granddaughter Terri Coombs Overbee (Mike) and two grandsons Sam and Jake Overbee all of Nicholasville, KY and a friend and caretaker Brenda Shockley of Glasgow. Five brothers, Fate, Basil, Bill, Finley and Joe Conkin and four sisters, Daisy Adkins, Ollie Castor, Sarah Donovan and Clara Hammond preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5pm until 8pm.
