Mildred Juanita Houchens

Mildred Juanita Houchens 73 of Glasgow died Sunday October 5, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late James Harlan and Mayola Moss Crews Glass. She was also preceded in death by her husband Herman Ray Houchens and a son Jimmy Houchens. Mrs. Houchens was a former employee of the Glasgow Health Care Facility and was a member of the Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include 3 sons, Billy Joe Houchens (Brenda) of Glasgow, Bobby Houchens of Glasgow and Donald Houchens (Barbara) of Bonayr; 4 daughters Roberta Fields (James), Vickie Frazier and Jennifer White (Jeremy) all of Glasgow and Patricia Jones (Edward) of Cave City; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 brother Ricky and 3 sisters Jean, Donnie Sue and Judy. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday October 8, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm on Tuesday.
