Mildred Richey

Mildred Proffitt Richey 78 of Glasgow died Tuesday March 2, 2004 at the Glasgow Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Monroe County the daughter of the late Stanley and Golda Mae Emberton Proffitt and wife of the late Jesse Woodrow Richey. Mrs. Richey was a homemaker and a member of the Athens Baptist Church in Monroe County. She is survived by 1 son Albert Richey of Glasgow; 3 daughters Jessie Butler and husband Bert of Tompkinsville, Michelle Kennedy and husband Larry of Bowling Green, and Marla Lyle and husband Richard of Glasgow; 1 brother Lanos Proffitt of Tompkinsville; 2 sisters Margaret Jean Belcher of Louisville and Mary Stieber of Alabama and 6 grandchildrenJuliana Headrick and Nicholas Butler of Tompkinsville and Dorothy Richey, Caroline Lyle, Frederick Lyle and Diana Lyle all of Glasgow. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday March 4, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
