Millard Keith Poindexter

Keith Poindexter 64 of Glasgow died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011 as the result of an auto accident in Barren County. He was born in Cumberland County the son of the late Herman and Mattie Poindexter. Keith was a former employee of Eaton and Dana Corp. and also J.M. Smucker Co. He had served as a chaplain for the T. J. Samson Hospital and T. J. Samson Hospice and was a member of Shepherd's House Church. He was a veteran, serving with the U. S. Army durning the Viet Nam War. He is survived by his wife Kim Fowler Poindexter; 1 son Chris Poindexter of Glasgow; 2 step-sons Randy Clatterbuck of Atlanta, GA and Jamie Scott (Catha) of Texas; a grandson Caden Poindexter and two sisters from Louisville. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Shepherd's House Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
