Minnie Shoopman

Minnie Bell Shoopman 84 of Glasgow died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the NHC Healthcare facility in Glasgow. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late Nepolean Ellis & Ida Elmore Ellis Wright and wife of the late Hall Shoopman. Mrs. Shoopman was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 sons Robert Shoopman (Crystal) of Glasgow and Kenneth Shoopman (Jennie) of Fairfax, VA; 2 grandchildren Robbie Duncan of Park City and Linda Cahill of Arizona; 7 great grandchildren; a sister Reba C. Houchens of Glasgow. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Wanda Shoopman and 4 brothers Lucian, Herbert, Elbert and Lesley Ellis. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
