Mitchell Mizell

Mitchell Mizell 88 of Glasgow, died Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the NHC Healthcare Facility. Born in Barren County he was the son of the late Buford Smith Mizell and Virgie Rigney Mizell. Mr. Mizell was a farmer and worked in the shipping Department of the Kentucky Pants Factory in Glasgow. He was a member of the Temple Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Mamie Nell Bartley Mizell; 2 sons Harold Mizell wife Teresa and Roger Mizell wife Sheilia all of Glasgow; 1 daughter Brenda McGuire and husband Tony of Murfreesboro, TN; 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren 1 step great grandchild, 1 sister Jenny Woods of Louisville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 son Joe Mizell; 1 grandchild Bethany Grace Mizell; 4 brothers William, Glen, Charlie and John Mizell and 2 sisters Leona Mizell and Lola Mizell. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5PM Monday, July 18, 2011 at the funeral home.
