Morris Billingsley

Elder Morris Billingsley 88 of Glasgow, KY died Friday night January 28, 2005 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County, KY the son of the late Thaddeus C. and Annie Bettie Wilburn Billingsley. Elder Billingsley was a farmer and a businessman and also a Baptist minister for many years. He was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church at Eighty Eight, KY. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Beulah Gentry Billingsley; two sons Thaddeus Marvin Billingsley and wife Kathleen of Fountain Run and David Billingsley and wife Amy of Henderson, KY; five grandchildren Terry, Jimmy, Timothy and Kent Billingsley and Kresta Wilson; 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and a nephew James Billingsley. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday February 1, 2005 at the Dover Baptist Church at Haywood and burial in the Union #2 Cemetery. Visitation will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Monday from 2pm Unitl 8pm.
