Morris Thomas

Morris D. Thomas 80 of Glasgow died Wednesday May 9, 2012 at Barren County Health Care Center. He was born in Monroe County a son of the late James Tas Thomas and Bertha Myers Thomas. Morris was an employee for many years with the Goodman Candy Co. and H.T. Hackney Co. and was a member of the former First General Baptist Church in Glasgow. He is survived by his daughter Leisa Ann Summers (Chris) of Park City; 3 grandchildren Brittany London of Hiseville, Brent London of Eglin Air Force Base in Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Blake London of Park City; 1 great grandchild Aidan Thomas London and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cletra Billingsley Thomas; 5 brothers Mitchell, Jessie, Adis, Denton and Harlan Thomas and 2 sisters Lou Ree Oliver and Annie Bell Thomas. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
