Myron 'Richard' Harvey 75 of Glasgow died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. He was born in Louisville, the son of the late Wilson Garnett Harvey and Mary Pearl Lewis Harvey. He was a retired truck driver for Armour Food. Mr. Harvey was a Ham radio operator and was active in the Ohio Falls CB Club, the Kentucky Rescue Assn., Mammoth Cave Amateur Radio Club and the American Radio Relay League. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. He is survived by his wife Virginia Sue Collins Harvey; 5 daughters Helen Wettle (Ralph), Rose Baker (Steve) and Lisa Wells (Kenny) all of Louisville, Debbie Wyatt (Michael) of Port St. Lucie, FL and Barbara Taylor (Harold) of Glasgow; 1 son Freddy A. Coffman of Glasgow; a sister Patricia Cook (Walter) of Mt. Washington; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Nancy Harvey and a brother James Thomas Harvey. Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday, May 21st at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
