Myrtie Sewell

Myrtie Alyne "Aggie" Sewell 82 of Cave City died Sunday, May 01, 2016 at her home. Born in Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Lennie B. and Beulah Hood Crabtree. Her husband was the late Jackie William Sewell. Mrs. Sewell was a former nurse for T. J. Samson Community Hospital, a school bus driver while living in Ohio, an artist and the former owner and operator of Aggie's Dress Shop. She had attended several Baptist churches including Gethsemane Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter Vickie Sutherland of Cave City, 2 sons Jackie W. Sewell, Jr. and wife Leonore of Dayton, OH and Bill Sewell and wife Michelle of Dayton, OH; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Pat Martin of Glasgow and Evelyn Meador of Illinois and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Debra Ann Sewell, a son Raymond Phillip Sewell, 6 brothers Mitchell, Ewell, Robert, Everett, Earl and William Crabtree and 4 sisters Mary Nell Medley, Chlorine Geralds, Clarine Polson and Irene Crabtree. Visitation will be Monday, May 2nd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home from 12:00 until 1:00. Graveside services will immediately follow at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
