Myrtle Bellamy

Myrtle Clarice Bellamy 88 of Glasgow died Tuesday July 24, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was born in Metcalfe County, KY the daughter of the late Robert Spears and Bertha Vibbert Glass. Her step father was the late Ervin Glass. Mrs. Bellamy was a homemaker and was a member of the Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Glasgow. She is survived by a daughter Hallie Reed (Herbert) of Glasgow; a son Leroy Bellamy (June) of Cincinnati, OH; 2 daughters-in-law Judy Bellamy and Bertha Bellamy of Cincinnati; 20 grandchildren Freddie Bellamy of Glasgow, Sherry Bode of Cincinnati, Allison Verran of Tennessee, Leroy Bellamy, Lisa Bellamy and Marietta Hines of Cincinnati, Dennis Reed of New Mexico, Danny Reed, Donnie Reed and Timmy Reed of Glasgow, Ronnie Bellamy, Connie Banks, Kay Schrand, John Bellamy, Terry Monahan, Annette Wallace and Billy Bellamy all of Cincinnati, Becky Bailey of Northern KY and Brian and Ricky Bellamy of Cincinnati; 40 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren and 2 sisters Aileen Hodges and Geraldine King of Cincinnati. In addition to her parents and step father, she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Ervin Bellamy, two sons Rollie and Willie Bellamy, a sister Lela Shephard and three brothers Floyd Spears, Gladwell Glass and Olnie Glass. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday July 27, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bonayr Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Thursday at the funeral home and on Friday from 8:00am until time for services.
