Myrtle Morgan

Myrtle M. Morgan 83 of Hampstead, MD and formerly of Glasgow died Friday Jan. 1, 2010 at Green Acres Nursing Home in Gettysburg, PA. She was born in Barren County a daughter of the late Frank and Virgie May Smith Payne. Mrs. Morgan was a waitress and cookie maker with the Nabisco Co. and a member of the Nabisco Bakery Union in Chicago, IL. She was a member of the Glasgow Church of God. Survivors include a daughter Shirley Rill of Hampstead, MD; a son Buddy Morgan of Westminster, MD; 2 sisters Aline Lowe and Erma Finn both of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters, Paul Payne, Ohmer Payne, Mable Wolfe, Marie Lowery, Maymie Payne, Ollie Thomas and Marion Payne. Graveside funeral services will be held 3:00pm Wednesday Jan. 6, 2010 at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. There will be no visitation. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
