Nancy Darlene Johnson

Nancy Darlene Pedigo Johnson, 63, was called home to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at her residence. She was born April 8, 1958, in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Lawrence Herman Pedigo and Vera Ellen Sexton Pedigo. Nancy is also preceded in death by one son, Allen Jerome Johnson; one granddaughter, Jacie Breanna Smith; two sisters, Ruby Bragg, Shirley Pedigo; one brother, Jerry Pedigo; three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and several aunts and uncles. The Barren County native was a homemaker, a mother to five, a wife of 28 years, a nana to fifteen grandchildren, and a great nana to five and one on the way. She worked at the sewing factory in Cave City. And a member of the Big Meadow Church. Survivors include her loving husband, Donnie Johnson; three daughters, Maria Smith (Chris), Michelle Rogers (Chris), Marcie Minor (Larry); one son, Phillip Smith (Cyndal); one brother, Gene Pedigo; two sisters, Dorothy Carter, Mary Poole; fourteen grandchildren, Quenton, Brandon, Christian, and Destiny Gaskin, Raven McMillian, Danielle Rogers, Lexi McMillian, Alana Gulley, Phillip Smith, Jr., Andrew Smith, Chevelle Smith, Kenlee, Kayslee, and Brayson Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mrs. Johnson will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 14th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Big Meadow Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A. F. Crow & Son is honored to be entrusted in the care of Mrs. Johnson.
