Nancy Hayes

Nancy H. Hayes, 81, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Miss Hayes was born in Sulphur Lick on June 27, 1929 the daughter of the late Maude Carter Hays and Ned Hays. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Quentin and Hazel Hayes. Miss Hayes was a teacher retired from the Barren County Schools. Following retirement, she served as a volunteer for the T.J. Samson Community Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Miss Hayes is survived by a cousin, Martha J. Howard, Glasgow. She is also survived by devoted caregivers, dear friends, and loving cousins. Funeral services will be held 6:00pm Friday, August 27, 2010 at the A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 6:00pm Friday at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the White Cemetery in Monroe County.
