Nannie Emogene Evans Kidd 89 of Glasgow died Tuesday night, August 23, 2011 at the Glasgow Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Cumberland County a daughter of the late Otis and Nannie Goff Phillips. She was a seamstress and formerly employed at Handmacher in Glasgow. She enjoyed gardening and fishing. She is survived by 2 sons Jim Evans (Judy) and David Evans (Tina) both of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Mark, Kent, and Alexis Blackburn, Casey Evans, Trevor Evans and Kali Evans Ehrhart; 3 great-grandchildren McKensie Blackburn, Draylon Sherfey and Elias Ehrhart; a sister Betty England and a brother Billy Phillips both of Houstonville, KY; a brother-in-law Louis Turner of Elizabeth, IN; several cousins and the step-grandchildren of Leon Kidd. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, James Alexander Evans and Leon Kidd and a sister Dorothy Turner. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 26, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cumberland County. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
