Naomi Ruth Harvey

Naomi Ruth Harvey, 85, of Glasgow, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Glasgow on September 22, 1936, to the late Wilbur D. Williams and Junie Mae Garner Williams. Naomi had worked as a seamstress with KY Pants for over 10 years. She loved to sew and to cook, and she was very good at both. Naomi will be loved and missed by her family and friends. She was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Kenneth Harvey (Mary) of Glasgow; three sisters, Ruby Hensley, Lucy Birge, and Mary Alice Warren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Garnett Harvey; son, Tim Harvey and her twin infants, Melvin Ray & Elvin Clay Harvey; siblings, Christine Byrd, Audrey Mae Adwell, Dora Creek, Henry Bud Williams, and Bobby Gene Williams. A family graveside service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, January 4th at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with burial to follow. A.F.
