Nelda Bowman

Nelda Mae Allen Bowman 87 of Glasgow died Thursday at her home. Born in Cumberland County she was the daughter of the late Carl and Metsie Hollinsworth Allen and wife of the late Cecil Morris Bowman. Mrs. Bowman was a homemaker and attended the Mud Camp Church of Christ and the Poplar Log Church of Christ. She is survived by 1 daughter Wanda Houchens and husband Greg of Glasgow; a son Morris Allen Bowman of Bowling Green and 3 grandchildren Benjamin Allen Bowman of Russellville, Alex Houchens of Carrollton and Hannah Mae Houchens of Glasgow. Two brothers, William Paul Allen and Fred Allen preceded her in death. A graveside service will be held at1:30 P.M. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home before the service.
