Nelda Siddens

Nelda Marie Siddens 80 of Glasgow died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was born in Cumberland County the daughter of the late Lee and Dollie Riddle Welsh. Nelda was a homemaker and farmed alongside her husband, the late John Lewis Siddens. She loved to garden and was a member of the Glasgow Farmer's Market for many years. She was a member of Boyd's Creek United Methodist Church and loved spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her children, Robert Lewis Siddens (Edith) of Glasgow, David Lee Siddens (Reina) of Glasgow, Sandra McCoy (Lewis) of Bowling Green and Lisa Garner (Clark) of Owensboro; 6 grandchildren Amanda S. Bivens (Justin), Tyler Siddens (Stephanie), Cheri S. Goble (Greg), Seth Garner, John Michael and Brandon McCoy; 5 great-grandchildren Matthew Siddens, Alex and Ben Owens, Liam Goble and Emma Siddens; 2 step grandchildren Cristo Abraham Uribe Quiroz (Vianey) and Ana Bele'n Uribe Quiroz; 3 step-great-grandchildren Iker Gael, Aylin Valeria and Alison Mayte; 3 brothers Vernon, Legene and Lonnie Welsh of Summer Shade and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Myron and Reid Welsh and 2 sisters Neva Estes and Nella Mae Welsh. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 12th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5pm Friday. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or the organization of your choice.
