Nell Gibbs

Nell Bertram Gibbs 86 of Glasgow passed away peacefully at home Sunday, December 07, 2014. Born at Etoile, KY she was the daughter of the late Bernice and Jewell Bartlett Bertram and wife of the late John T. Gibbs. Mrs. Gibbs was a retired school teacher of 26 years with the Barren County School System. She is survived by her daughter Peggy Edmunds (Wayne); granddaughter Stacey Smith (Jonathan); 3 great-grandchildren Brynn Shirley (Adam), Ann Douglas Springer and Ty Springer; 1 great-great grandson Staylee Shirley; her sister-in-law Hope Williams; brother-in-law Edward Page; several nieces and nephews and a special caregiver Lavawn Cross. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers William and Ralph Bertram and a grandson Jonathan L. Edmunds. Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday, December 9th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4pm Monday. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff of T. J. Samson Home Health and Hospice.
