Nell Shockley

Nell Kathrene Shockley 82 of Glasgow died Friday, July 3, 2015 at her residence. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late Joe Abb Russell and Maude Pierce Russell. Mrs. Shockley was a member of the Union #2 Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Marvin Shockley of Nobob, KY; 2 sons Dralin Shockley of Summer Shade and Eddie Shockley & wife Pam of Edmonton, KY; 2 sisters Louise Lemay of Scottsville, KY and Lavada Gosser of Kissimmee, FL; 3 brothers Larry T. Russell and Avalon Russell both of Glasgow and Gobel Russell of Nobob, KY; 7 grandchildren Randy Shockley, SSG Brandon Shockley (Jaclyn), Savannah Shockley, Brian Shockley (Brandie), Suzanna Cowles, Heather Shockley and Tyler Shockley; 2 step grandchildren Heather Harris and Dustin Jessie; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a son Steven Mark Shockley. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Union #2 Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Union #2 Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday after 3:00pm at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and on Monday from 10:00am until time for the service at the Union #2 Missionary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
