Nellie P. McKinney, 85, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home March 17, 2024. She was born on November 16, 1938, to the late Andrew Ferguson “Jellyco” and late Blanch Ferguson. She spent her life as a babysitter caring for children in her home for over thirty years.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Judy Simmons; daughter-in-law, Jennifer McKinney; four grandchildren, Joseph Lee McKinney (Nicole), Freddy Allen McKinney (Rachel), Tamara Moss (James), Tina Campbell (Ben); one great grandchild, Elise Campbell.
In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Howard McKinney; two sons, Harry Lee McKinney and Donald Terry McKinney; three brothers, Randell Ferguson, WC Ferguson, Billy Ferguson; two sisters Lovonne Marr and Doris Page.
The funeral service will be held at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, March 20th, with burial to be in the Ford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
