Nettie Furlong

Nettie Pearl Furlong 81 of Glasgow died Friday, December 4, 2015 at her residence. Born in Barren County she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Flossie Victoria Williams Bunch and wife of the late William Thomas 'Billy' Furlong. Mrs. Furlong was a homemaker and a member of the Southside Baptist Church. Survivors include 3 daughters Victoria Pennycuff (Ronnie) of Smiths Grove, KY, Debbie Johns (Johnny Murray) of Auburn, KY and Jennifer Shaw (Alan) of Lucas, KY; 4 grandchildren David Pennycuff (Tina), Ronda Pennycuff, Jason Fisher (Annette) and Tracy Schwegel (Paul); 3 great grandchildren Allan Pennycuff, Brock Pennycuff and Emma Fisher; 3 sisters Lucy Gray (Marshall) of Austin, KY, Betty Jo Lyons (Earl) of Florida and Ruth West of Georgia and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 2 sisters Sarah Shockley and Charlyne Ogden. Memorial graveside services will be 11:00am Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Mrs. Furlong chose cremation. A. F. Crow and Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to your local Hospice Organization.
