Nick Haiduc 95 of Glasgow, died Friday, December 16, 2016 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Massillon, Ohio, he was the son of the late John and Elena Bognean Haiduc. He served in the U. S. Army Air Corp during WWII from 1942-1945. Nick was employed by Tyson Roller Bearing Co./SKF, and was a member of Saint Helen Catholic Church in Glasgow. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Violet June Haiduc. He is survived by four children; Nick John Haiduc, Jr. of California, Stephen Haiduc of Florida, Mary Eubank of Glasgow and Elayne Malone of Glasgow; six grandchildren, Nick John Haiduc III and Scott Haiduc both of California, Stephen Haiduc Jr. of Ohio, Miranda Deaton of Kentucky, Ginger Ervin of South Carolina and Natalie Eubank of Illinois; seven great-grandchildren, Dalton and Hudson Haiduc, Lauren and Gavin Haiduc, Blake and Brody Deaton and Allie Ervin. Nick is also survived by a sister Jean Evans of New Philadelphia, Ohio. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 22nd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to Barren River Animal Welfare Association, P.O. Box 171, Glasgow, KY 42142-0171.
