Nina Emberton

Nina Mae Emberton 89 of Glasgow died Friday February 15, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Monroe County the daughter of the late Joe Harrison Hood and Cora Elizabeth Wright Hood. Mrs. Emberton was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband Quin Emberton. She is survived by 1 daughter Linda Elkin (Donald) of Bowling Green, KY; 5 grandchildren Danny Elkin of Bowling Green, Debbie Gravil (Tim) of Bowling Green, Pam Wood (Billy) of Tompkinsville, Doug Emberton (Tracey) of Glasgow and Marla Doty (Jerome) of Glasgow; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law Paul and Mary Lou Emberton, two sisters Inez Newport and Inus Witty and a brother Buddy Hood. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday February 18, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Yokley Cemetery in Tompkinsville. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00pm Until 8:00pm and on Monday from 9:00am until time for services.
