Nina Grace Dickson McIntyre 89, of Glasgow went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 31, 2016 at NHC Extended Care. Born August 31, 1926 the daughter of the late James Thomas and Ina Frances Parsons Dickson, She married the late Woodrow McIntyre on November 12, 1952 and although they never had children of their own, they were second parents to many children in the neighborhood, playing ball and serving them treats. Nina was retired from Kentucky Pants Factory having worked for over 35 years, she loved gospel music and was the piano player for the family quartet, known as the Dickson Quartet. They sang on the local radio station and in many local churches. Mrs. McIntyre was a member of the Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over 40 years. Survivors include a nephew Rollin Dickson and wife Linda and a niece Patty Dickson Bailey and husband Marshall both of Glasgow. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother William Thomas Dickson, a sister Sarah Lena Dickson and a nephew Donald Dickson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday and Wednesday morning until time for service.
