Norine Carter

Norine Carver Carter 92 of Glasgow died Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren County she was the daughter of the late Yette and Eliza Francis Carver and the wife of the late Claude Carter. Mrs. Carter was a member of the South Fork Baptist Church and former member of the South Fork Homemakers Club. Survivors include 1 son Harold Carter and wife Lavaune of Glasgow, 1 daughter Louise Cox and husband Don of Glasgow, 8 grandchildren Ronald Carter of Glasgow, Larry Carter of Indiana, Donald Carter of Washington, DC, Elizabeth Ann (Scott) Clay of Owensboro, Harold David Carter of Glasgow, Michael Allen (Glenda) Cox Glasgow, Lisa Carol (Jay) Stengel of Louisville, and Jonathan Scott Cox of Louisville. Several great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceeded in death by 2 sons Charles Carter and infant son, Curtis Hoover Carter. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, December 19 2003 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Thursday, December 18, 2003 at the funeral home.
