Norma Louise Hunt Barbour, 82, of Summer Shade, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at The Bowling Green Medical Center. She was born August 1, 1941 in Monroe County, Kentucky to the late Clarence Ray Hunt and Velma Thomas Hunt Bowles. Louise was a member of Dover Baptist Church at Etoile since 1959. She was a retired LPN from the medical office of Drs. John, Lewis, and L.G. Dickinson in Glasgow.


Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Emmett Erroll Barbour; three children, Faron Barbour, Alan Barbour (Carla), and Gina Turner (Joey); one brother, Barry Bowles (Karen); five grandchildren, David Barbour (Lori), Daniel Barbour, Shaina Brieschke (Lance), Anthony Barbour, Kaylee Turner; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, J.R. Hunt (Doris) and Bruce Bowles.


The funeral service for Mrs. Barbour will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, December 30th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday afternoon from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
