Norma Wood

Norma Jean Wood 88 of Glasgow died Saturday, December 10, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Ed and Flossie Kirby Wood. Jean was a farmer and a caregiver and was a member of Peters Creek Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Edward Wood and a sister Virginia (Wilson) Pitcock. She is survived by nieces, Leigh Ann Allbright (Tommy) of Glasgow, Lisa Hope (Marty) of Glasgow and Linda Wood of Tennessee; nephew Larry Wood of Austin and several cousins including Lucinda Kenny of Glasgow and Gwen Young of Edmonton. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 14th at A. F. Crow & Son funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3pm until 8pm.
