Nova Farmer

Nova R. Farmer, 82, of Caneyville passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Spring View Health & Rehab Center in Leitchfield, KY. She was born on August 18, 1929 in Grayson County, the daughter of James Washington Higgs and Hetty Mae Smith Higgs. She was a nursing home caregiver. She is survived by her 5 children George Huff (Faye) of Augusta, GA, Ronald Lee Huff and Carolyn Butts (Larry) both of Mattoon, IL, Bobbe Peden of Bettendorf, IA, and Donna Hughes of Louisville, 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husbands Ward Huff, Donald Hughes and James Farmer, 2 sons and 1 daughter.Cremation was chosen. There will be a memorial serviceWednesday, August 22 at the Vol-Layman Cemetery in Millwood at 1:00 pm CST.
