Noxie Coffey, age 91, of Glasgow, went to be with the Lord on October 7, 2020 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. She was born November 15, 1928 in Kettle, KY. She was the daughter of the late Culbert and Ethel (Groce) Riddle. She was married to the late Cordell Coffey for 60 years. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Janet Rigsby of Glasgow and Rebecca Matthew (Douglas) of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Garry Rigsby (Kelley) of Glasgow, Rena Edwards (Tim) of Edmonton, Lori Hagan (Kenneth) of Glasgow, and Doug Matthews Jr. (Jennifer) of Bowling Green; six great grandchildren, Tiffany Rigsby of Glasgow, Katie Bishop (Kyle) of Bowling Green, Addie Peavler (Cameron) of Bowling Green, Trevor Edwards, Kassie Templeton (Nick) of Smiths Grove, Mason Edwards, Melonie Edwards, both of Edmonton; eight great-great grandchildren, Norah Wilson, Hannah and Graves Bishop of Bowling Green, Harlyn and Remy Rigsby of Glasgow, Ari and Ashton Matthews of Bowling Green, Tristan and Sadie Templeton of Bowling Green; one brother, Gene Riddle (Janet) of Greensburg; three sisters, Maxie Kingrey of Summer Shade, Mary Compton, Nina Birge of Fountain Run; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband, Noxie was preceded in death by one son, Carl Lee Coffey; one son-in-law, Dennis Rigsby; one great-great granddaughter, Jude Wilson; one brother, Sherman Riddle; four sisters, Sarah Coop, Bell Melton, Cleo Miller, and Lucy Rouse. Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM, Saturday, October 10th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until time for services Saturday at the funeral home. All those who wish to honor and remember Ms. Coffey in person at the visitation or service must wear a mask or other appropriate facial covering and practice physical distancing while inside the funeral home for the safety of those in attendance.
