Omer Jordan

Omer Hayes Jordan, 90, of Glasgow, KY died Monday January 26, 2004 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Jacob Ferd Jordan and Susie Belle Settles Jordan. Mr. Jordan was a member of the Dover Baptist Church at Haywood and a long time grocer at Allen Crossroads Store and Haywood Store. He is survived by his wife Marie Bailey Jordan, 1 daughter Peggy Atkinson and husband Dan of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Robin Shirley and husband Darren of Glasgow, Derek Atkinson and wife Katherine of Glasgow and 2 great grandchildren Brittany and Brianna Shirley of Glasgow. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 1 sister Mrytle Powell and 2 brothers Ray & Roy Jordan. Funeral services will be 2pm Thursday January 29, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00 noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
