Opal Loumae Jordan

Opal Loumae Bartley Jordan 88 of Glasgow, Kentucky died Wednesday March 9, 2005 at the N.H.C. Health Care Facility in Glasgow. Mrs. Jordan was born in Metcalfe County the daughter of the late Radford and Rosetta Crabtree Bartley. She was a homemaker and a Foster Grandparent for many years and was a life long member of the Union #2 Baptist Church. She is survived by 2 daughters Rose Maxey Simmons and husband Kenneth of Glasgow and Carole Billingsley and husband Walter of Glasgow; 2 sisters Oma Bailey and Olene Matthews both of Glasgow; 2 brothers Otha Bartley and Turner Bartley both of Summer Shade; 6 grandchildren Jeff Simmons and wife Debi, Randy Simmons and wife Susan, Tommy Simmons and wife Tara, Debbie Simmons Gatewood and husband Dwight, Beth Billingsley Groce and husband Brad and Amy Billingsley Geary and husband Darren and 13 great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents her husband Bill Jordan, a sister Nell Samson and a great grandson Chris Simmons preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday March 11, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Union #2 Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6:00pm Thursday.
