Opal Thomerson

Opal Dee Thomerson 83 of Glasgow, died Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Barren County Health Care. Born in Barren County she was the daughter of the late Robert and Rosie Fields Jessie and the wife of the late Roy Thomerson. Mrs. Thomerson was a member of the Grider Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 daughters Barbara Sue Elmore and husband Terry of Louisville, KY; Teresa Brewer and husband Jay of Glasgow; 1 brother Earl Jessie of Greensburg, KY; 1 sister Inis Walbert of Edmonton, KY; special friend and caregiver Tressie Young; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild also survives. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 1 son Charles Thomerson. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, November 16, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 4:30pm Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the funeral home.
