Ora Jones

Ora Lee Jones 86 of Glasgow, died Monday, February 9, 2009 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren County she was the daughter of the late Virgil White and Lula Bridges Rigdon and the wife of the late Paul Everett Jones. Mrs. Jones was a secretary for the Barren River State Park and member of the Dover Baptist Church at Haywood. Survivors include 1 son Larry Eaton (Glenda) of Glasgow, 1 step-daughter Paulette Peil (Curt) of Glasgow, 1 step-daughter-in-law Diane Jones of Glasgow, 1 grandson Chris Eaton (Sheila) of Glasgow, 6 step grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren Brooke, Murphy and Tanner, 12 step-great grandchildren, 1 sister Francis Hulse of Tyler, TX, 1 brother Jesse Rigdon (Charlotte) of Glasgow, 1 nephew Bob Hulse (Debbie) of Tyler, TX, 1 niece Dr. Amelia Kiser (Kyle) of Glasgow, 1 great niece and 1 great nephew, and her extended family and friends at NHC Healthcare Facility. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a step-son Ronnie Jones. Funeral services will be held 2PM Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3PM Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the funeral home.
