Otha Billingsley

Otha B. Billingsley 89 of Glasgow died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born at Slick Rock, KY a son of the late Dewey Walter and Bertha Ann Word Billingsley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Johnson Billingsley. Mr. Billingsley was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He had been a life insurance salesman for many years and was associated with Lincoln Income Life Insurance Co. for 27 years. He was a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ. Survivors include a son, Dennis Billingsley and wife Debbie of Louisville; 2 granddaughters, Shani Billingsley and husband Michael of Glasgow and Christine Reeves and husband Chris of Leesburg, GA; 5 great-grandchildren Ellie and Evan Hale and Christian, Cody and Chase Reeves; a sister-in-law Lucille Johnson of Glasgow, and his nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers Ivan and Marvin Billingsley and a sister Irene Kidd. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, March 30, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Thursday.
