Otto Ballou age 75 of Clarkson, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Springview Health and Rehab in Leitchfield, Kentucky. He was born March 30, 1939 in Bowling Green, Kentucky the son of Frank Sneed Ballou and Emmaline Hibbert Grissom. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Ballou of Clarkson, step-children, Mark Elzey (Jackie), Deborah Elzey, Sherman Bugin (Phyllis) & Jo Ann Logsdon, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and step-sister, Linda Libbs. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Frank Steven Ballou and Russell Ballou. He was a member of the American Legion Hardin County Post 113 where he served as Chaplain, a Kentucky Colonel, member of the McNeil Masonic Lodge 851 F&AM, a member of the Shriners, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Fr. Carroll White Council 6743. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 23, 2015 at the St. Augustine Church in Clarkson, Kentucky with Fr. Babu Kulathumkal officiating and burial will be in the St. Augustine Cemetery in Clarkson. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield and from 9:00 a.m. til 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2015. A Masonic service will be held at 4:00 p.m. and a prayer service being held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
