Patsy Garrett

Patsy Carol Garrett, 74, of Glasgow, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her family and friends. Patsy was an avid artist, loving to paint and draw. She was a member of Grider Memorial Baptist Church. Patsy was a loving wife of 54 years to Ottie Garrett Sr. She helped raise his three children as her own. Patsy loved her family and enjoyed spending time with all of them. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Modesta Borough Clapp; her husband, Ottie Garret Sr; two brothers, John and Richard Clapp; one sister, Shirley Lowe; and a stepson, Ottie Garrett Jr. Survivors include two sisters, Kay Franklin of Toledo, OH and Betty Kinker of Fort Myers, FL; two brothers, Tom Clapp (Doris) of Glasgow and Paul Clapp of Toledo, OH; stepdaughter, Faye Talbott of Glasgow; stepson, Ben Garrett of Frankfort; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Monday, September 2nd at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Union #2 cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, from 10:00am until time for services at the funeral Home.
