Paul Goad

Paul Jefferson Goad 89 of Glasgow, died Saturday March 10, 2007 at the Barren County Health Care Facility in Glasgow. He was born in Allen County, KY the son of the late Robert and Rosa Houchens Goad. Mr. Goad was a self employed Drilling Contractor, was a U. S. Army Veteran of WW II and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign War, Bowling Green Chapter. Survivors include 2 sons Don Froedge (Monica) of Glasgow and Larry Goad (Rose) of Center, KY; 3 daughters Gail Lyons (Doug) of Glasgow, Bonnie Driggers of Lake Port, FL and Jo Ann Thomas (Donnie) of Glasgow; 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; 1 brother James Goad of Glasgow and a sister Georgia Dean of Glasgow. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Peden Goad, a son Paul Goad Jr. and 4 brothers Herbert, William, Ed and Frank Goad. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday March 13, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Depp Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
