Paul Edward Porter 69 of Glasgow died Friday, January 3, 2014 at his home. Born in Madison, Wisconsin he was the son of the late James and Alvina Hanson Porter. He was a retired firefighter and former owner and operator of PEP Fire Equipment in Glasgow. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Air Force. Paul was a mason and a member of the masonic lodges of Glasgow, Cave City and Tompkinsville. He is survived by his significant other Diana DeCarlo of Glasgow; 2 sons Brian Porter of Massachusetts and Troy Jessee of Georgia; a daughter Michele Martin of California; a brother Gary Porter of California; a sister Wanda Laker of Oregon and one grandchild. Mr. Porter chose cremation and no visitation. There will be a Masonic service 7pm Wednesday, January 8th at the Cave City Masonic Lodge, 702 N. Dixie Hwy., Cave City, KY and the public is welcome to attend. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
