Pauline Brown

Pauline Matthews Brown 101 of Glasgow died Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the NHC Healthcare facility in Glasgow. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late Lute & Louisa Jane Nuckols Matthews and wife of the late Bosie Lee Brown. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a homemaker and former employee of Lermon Brothers and a wonderful mother. Survivors include 2 daughters Mary Lou Wiley (Eugene) of Anderson, IN and Ruth Ann Powell (Ray) of Glasgow; 2 grandsons Randy E. Perkins (Mary) of Glasgow and Jeffrey Lee Perkins (Teresa) of Franklin; a granddaughter Jeanie Zablocki (David) of Michigan; 2 step grandchildren Kim Shipley (Matt) and Ronnie Powell (Ronda); 13 great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a daughter Joyce Jean Brown, a granddaughter Connie Lou Wiley; 3 sisters Lottie Bacon, Sally Lewis and Margaret Davis and 3 brothers Marvin Matthews, Mark Matthews and Ben Matthews. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
