Pearl Pritchard Greer 104 of Glasgow died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Barren County Health Care in Glasgow. The Barren County native was the daughter of the late William Crittenden and Eva Taylor Pritchard. Her husband was the late Leo Page Greer. In 1956 Mrs. Greer founded Greer's Florist which she owned and operated and which continues as a family owned and operated florist. In 2005 she was inducted into the Kentucky Florists Hall of Fame. She was a charter member of the Glasgow B&PW Club and was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church. She is survived by her son Jerry Greer and wife Davie of Glasgow; 2 granddaughters Julie Edwards and husband Randy and Cathy Doty and husband Dick all of Glasgow; 4 great-grandchildren Courtney Benefield (John), Catherine Edwards and Dylan and Trey Doty; a great-great-grandchild Greer Benefield all of Glasgow; nephews Billy Pritchard and Earl Jackson of Glasgow and nieces Gloria Brown of Elizabethtown and Wanda Garrett of Glasgow. Several great nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 3:30pm Tuesday, December 11th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4pm until 8pm and Tuesday from 8am until time for the service.
