Phyllis Ballard

Phyllis Dean Ballard 65 of Glasgow died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. She was born in Austin, KY the daughter of the late Jack Thomerson and Ruby Houchens Thomerson Birge. Mrs. Ballard was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. She is survived by her husband Jerry; 5 children, Deanna Carroll and husband Donavon of Smiths Grove, Melissa Ballard of Glasgow, Chris Ballard and wife Beverly of Glasgow, Lori Pedigo and husband Derek of Glasgow and Wade Ballard and wife Laurie of BonAyr; 12 grandchildren Christina, Meghan, Renee, Anthony, Josh, Cody, Briar, Bailey, Sydney, Austin, Jeremy and Brandy; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 brother Gary Thomerson of Park City; 3 sisters Susie Smith of Glasgow, Nancy Young Nichols of Temple Hill and Gladys Sizemore of Etoile; 2 sisters-in-law Annie Jessie (Ray) of Columbus, IN and Ollie Grissom of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Renee Ballard. Funeral services will be 1pm Friday, May 24, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11am Thursday.
