Phyllis Martin

Phyllis Ann Martin, 51, of Glasgow, died Friday August 12, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Jerry Perkins and Susan Hankey Perkins. Ms. Martin had worked for Wininger Oil Company for 12 years and then later as District Manager for White Oil Company. She was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include a son Dakota Vance (Jenny) of Glasgow; 1 daughter Lacy Mayes (Eli) of Glasgow; 1 step son Caleb Martin of Cave City; 3 grandchildren Ava Mayes, Mason Mayes and Logan Vance all of Glasgow; 1 brother Steve Perkins of Hodgenville; 1 sister Carolyn Emmert (Scott) of Edmonton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Carl Perkins. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday August 14, 2016 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Alternate expression of sympathy may take the form of a memorial contribution to the funeral home to help defer funeral expenses.
